Sandhya Tippur, joined AGING FOCUSED in 2021. Sandhya come to our team after many years in the bio-pharmaceutical field. She transitioned to the Aging Life Care Management profession after her own experiences with advocating for a family member, who was suffering from cancer, and helping other family members plan for aging needs.

Sandhya has a natural  ability to build relationships. critically think through complicated processes, and investigate innovative services. Her "boots on the ground" commitment to patient advocacy has proven ideal for our aging clients, their families, and their support systems.

Sandhya has a Bachelor of Science in Management Science from University of California San Diego. She recently completed a certification program in Geriatrics via Cal State San Marcos. She is currently working towards obtaining her CMC certification as well as her Dementia Practitioner Certification.

Janai Quintana, MSW, CMC, CDP joined AGING FOCUSED in 2023.  Janai comes to our team with over 8 years of Professional Care Management experience and over 22 years of experience in the aging industry, including work in Adult Protective Services, Adult Day Health Centers, medical social work, and home care administration. Janai has expertise in helping families with complex dynamics and clients with dementia and/or mental health concerns.  Her combined knowledge of aging resources, her service experience, and her focus on person-centered care provides Janai with a unique perspective to improving client satisfaction, enhancing outcomes, and increasing quality of life for clients engaged in Aging Life Care Management through AGING FOCUSED.

Janai earned her Master’s degree in Social Work from Our Lady of the Lake in San Antonio, Texas.  She holds the professional certifications as a Care Manager-Certified (CMC) and as a Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP). Janai has been an active member of the Aging Life Care Association (ALCA) since 2015.  This includes serving as the San Diego ALCA-Local Chapter Chair, a member of the ALCA-Western Regional Chapter (ALCA-WRC) Board of Directors, as a Committee Member of the National Conference Planning Committee, and several ALCA-WRC sub-committees.

Who Is Aging Focused

Dr. Rebecca Montano is an industry professional with over 25 years of experience working with individuals with disabilities as well as individuals who are experiencing the changes and challenges associated with aging. Dr. Montano has a Ph.D. in Human Services with an emphasis in Geriatrics, a Master’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling, and a Master’s degree in Business Administration. Dr. Montano holds certifications as a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor, a Certified Case Manager and  Care Management-Certified. She is a member of National Association of
